Recently, we hosted a food drive for the Utah Food Bank at each of our RC Willey locations around the Salt Lake Valley.  Thanks to all of our kind and giving customers, we were able to collect an abundance of food!  Here were the total pounds of food picked up at each location:

SLC Distribution Center- 198 lbs.

Murray- 4,902 lbs.

South Salt Lake- 3,232 lbs.

Taylorsville- 1,490 lbs.

West Jordan- 1,798 lbs.  

With a grand total of 11,620 lbs of food, many Utah families will be blessed and fed this winter.  Thanks for your support and generosity!

This past week RC Willey donated backpacks, comic books and school supplies to Salt Lake inner-city Elementary schools.  Between receiving new school supplies and getting a surprise visit from the Jazz Bear, you would have thought the kids had died and gone to heaven.  It was chaotic, exciting, and a lot of fun!

For all you Utahans, this is a tailgating party you don't want to miss!

Remember when La-Z-Boy, one of our vendors, made a generous furniture donation to Ronald McDonald House in Salt Lake City a few months back?  I wanted to share this letter we received from Ronald McDonald House- we echo their thanks to the delivery drivers, installation crew, and those on the sidelines that helped make this happen!

If you're in Utah this summer, make sure you stop by the weekly Farmer's Market, held at the Syracuse RC Willey location!  What a perfect way to spend your Saturday morning!  

Also, if you're a California resident, don't forget about the weekly Farmer's market held at the Rocklin RC Willey location!  This Saturday, July 9th, from 8am-10am, if you purchase a muffin in the cookie shop, you'll get a free cup of coffee!

The Rocklin Farmer's Market just celebrated it's 1 Year Anniversary!  Make sure you check it out this summer if you are in the area, because there is something for everyone!

When: Every Saturday Morning of the Summer!

Time: 8:00am- 12:00pm Rain or Shine! (Store opens at 8am as well on Saturday's- so you can stop in to shop and grab some coffee at the cookie shop!)

The 8th Annual RC Willey Car Show is being held this weekend!   The Northern Utah Mustang Owners Association will be featured, as well as The Corvette Club of Utah, and Beehive Model A Club!
