In 1932, Rufus Call Willey began selling appliances to his friends and
neighbors in Syracuse, Utah. He started his business with a simple philosophy-people
deserve quality merchandise and great service at a fair price. Today,
that same philosophy still exists at the company he founded over 60
years ago. That's why R.C. Willey offers you the security of our "Pledge
of Protection".
The Pledge of Protection
Even the best quality merchandise can sometimes need repairs, and repairs
are expensive. R.C. Willey's Pledge of Protection protects you from
the high cost of repair bills. If the item covered by the Pledge of
Protection fails, R.C. Willey will fix it. There's no paper work to
complete, no hassles, no fuss. Just call the nearest R.C. Willey location
and you will be referred to a factory-authorized service center in your
area. Present your sales receipt and a factory-trained technician will
perform the needed repairs on your purchase. You never see a bill on
repairs completed under this agreement.
What Is Covered?
The pledge of protection extends the manufacturer's warranty for the
period of the pledge. Anything covered under the manufacturer's warranty
is covered for that time period. Exclusions generally include disposable
items like batteries. Naturally, damage caused by misuse or abuse is
not covered.
Provides for in-home repairs on large TV's and appliances
Provides for "close-to-home" repairs. No need for shipping in
most cases
Warranty "Buy-Back" Program
When you purchase a Qualifying Extended Warranty from R.C. Willey and
do not need to use the warranty in any from, you may qualify to receive
an R.C. Willey gift certificate at the end of the warranty term equal
to 50% of the cost of the warranty. Please read the following details.
The extended warranty must be expired to receive the "Buy-Back" gift
certificate.
The extended warranty must be expired to receive the "Buy-Back"
gift certificate.
The "Buy-Back" must be claimed within 90 days after the extended
warranty has expired. It is the customer's responsibility to notify
the R.C. Willey warranty department that the warranty has expired
to receive the "Buy-Back" gift certificate. (In Salt Lake City,
UT call 801-464-2340; in Boise, ID call 208-288-4100; and in Las
Vegas, NV call 702-856-8000).
The Warranty Buy-Back will be in the form of an R.C. Willey gift
certificate equal to one-half the actual cost of the extended
warranty paid by the customer. No cash, checks or credit to the
customer's account will be issues. After the customer notifies
the warranty department and the customer qualifies, the gift certificate
will be mailed to the customer. This gift certificate may be used
to purchase any merchandise from R.C. Willey.
The customer's account must be in good standing before the gift
certificate can be issued.
The extended warranties that qualify for the 50% Buy-Back are
as follows:

If any claims in any form have been made against the extended
warranty, the customer does not qualify for the Buy-Back program.
The customer must have purchased the Qualified Extended Warranties
after July 15, 1999.
The Extended Warranty Plan must have been purchased from R.C.
Willey at the time of the product purchase. Warranties purchased
through telemarketing programs do not qualify.
The Buy-Back program applies to the original purchase and is non-transferable.
R.C. Willey offers delivery to a large geographical area surrounding
our warehouse(s). Long-distance and evening deliveries may be assessed
an additional delivery charge. Please see our store for your local delivery
area and schedule. Your order must be paid for or fully credit approved
in advance of your scheduled delivery date in order to be delivered.
We will call you two days in advance of your scheduled delivery date
to confirm your delivery and to verify your delivery address and other
important information. This call also confirms to us that you will be
available to receive the delivery on the scheduled date. If you are
not home when we attempt to make your delivery on the scheduled delivery
date, we will help you reschedule your delivery for the next available
date and will assess a $55 redelivery charge. Any order rescheduled
less than 24 hours prior to the original scheduled date will be assessed
a $55 rescheduling fee.
Our drivers will call you the morning of your delivery date to give
you a three-hour block of time during which your delivery will be made.
If our drivers were unable to contact you, please call our Service
Center(s) at (702) 856-8060 (Las Vegas area) or (801) 596-6959 (all
other deliveries) on the day of delivery to get your 3-hour
delivery window. We are unable to make time commitments for delivery
before our drivers set the three-hour window.
We recommend that you personally be home to receive and inspect your
merchandise. If this is not possible, other arrangements must be made
to have a responsible individual receive your delivery. Our delivery
associates are happy to call ahead for you to meet them at your home.
Please provide the phone numbers where you can be contacted and the
amount of time you will need to make the connection.
Please clear the area in your home where you would like your new merchandise
placed. Our delivery drivers cannot remove your existing merchandise.
Please inspect the merchandise with our delivery team!
R.C. Willey makes the commitment to deliver your merchandise in good
condition. If you find this is not the case, we will resolve our concerns
at the time of delivery. If you find a problem with your merchandise
after our drivers leave, we will send a qualified service technician
to your home to help resolve the issue.
Will Calls
Please make certain that you inspect your product carefully when you pick
it up with your own vehicle. R.C. Willey cannot be held responsible for
merchandise damaged after you pick it up. For your protection and ours,
we do ask for a form of picture identification when you pick up your merchandise.
It is important to R.C. Willey that you are sleeping well on your new
mattress. It takes time to adjust to a new sleeping surface. If after
30 nights from the date of purchase you are not comfortable, R. C. Willey
Home Furnishings will give you up to 30 additional nights to exchange
your mattress.
This exchange is a one-time only courtesy exchange. If the re selected
mattress is of greater value, the customer is responsible for any increase
in the retail price. Exchanges will be made only after the 30-day adjustment
period, and mattresses must be in original and sanitary condition. A
pick-up charge of $55 will apply on mattress exchanges.
Adjustable mattresses and bases are not returnable. All sales are final.
If we service your appliance or electronic product three times during
the first year of ownership for legitimate product defects, and it fails
a fourth time during the first year, we will verify the failure with
an authorized service technician and then replace it.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase from R.C.
Willey within 14 days, you may exchange the item or return it for a
full refund (Mattresses are excluded. See Mattress Policy).
In order to receive full credit for your return, the merchandise must
be in like-new condition and electronics products must be returned with
the original box and packaging, and with all manuals and accessories.
There is a 15% restocking fee on all computer products and camcorders
that are returned in an opened or non-factory sealed box.
We will meet or beat any price on the exact same item at any full service
local retailer. Even after you purchase, if you find a lower price within
30 days, we will refund 110% of the difference. If the item goes on
sale at R.C. Willey within 30 days of your purchase, we will certainly
match our own sale price.
This price guarantee excludes floor samples, going-out-of-business sales,
clearance and damaged items, or other limited-quantity or out-of-stock
items.
Please be aware that we reserve the right to change prices, terms, specifications,
and warranties without notice. We endeavor to accurately describe every
product offered for sale; however, mistakes can sometimes be made. Any
typographical, photographic, or specification error in product description,
pricing or offers is subject to correction or verification (including
after an order has been submitted).
Each contest is open to all qualified persons 18 years or older
except the following: Employees of R.C. Willey and related companies;
household members, siblings, and parents of said R.C. Willey employees;
employees of all Utah, Idaho, Nevada and California broadcasting companies,
their affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies and their immediate family
members. There is no purchase necessary. One entry per person. Multiple
entries will be disqualified.
A total of one prize may be won per household address, name, and
or family residing in same, per contest, whether the prize be in cash,
services, or merchandise.
Persons who have previously won a prize of either cash, services,
or merchandise in time in the past are subject to the following restrictions:
Persons who have won a prize valued up to $100 in the last 30 days
are not eligible to win. Persons who have won a prize valued between
$101 and $499 in the last 90 days are not eligible to win. Persons
who have won a prize valued between $500 and $999 in the last 6 months
are not eligible to win. Persons who have won a prize valued at $1,000
or more in the last 12 months are not eligible to win. These restrictions
also apply to immediate household members of contest or prizewinners.
The winner will be responsible for all tax liability associated
with winning this contest. Winner will be required to sign an eligibility
release form and give R.C. Willey permission to use their name, photo
and voice for promotional purposes without further compensation. By

Final Rules for the Hannah Montana Concert Contest
Entry must include a phone number to be contacted immediately after drawing on March 3rd. Winner must be able to travel to Houston Saturday, March 8th and return March 10th, 2008.
Winner must be able to provide names immediately of all parties for purchase of airline tickets; if they choose to accept the concert tickets. The winner has the right to choose the tickets or a $2,000 shopping spree at R.C. Willey.
R.C. Willey will provide airline tickets (4) along with two nights hotel. R.C. Willey reserves the right to reimburse winner the amount of car rental for trip period for a licensed driver 25 years or older. Rental insurance fees, gasoline and any other additional expenses are the winner’s responsibility.
Hotel room will be quad occupancy for the nights of March 8 and March 9, 2008. Arrangements for payment will be made by R.C. Willey and will include room taxes. Additional charges to that room will be at the expense of the winner.
