Super Bowl 2012 Popcorn Maker Giveaway!

When you think "Super Bowl", I would venture to guess one of three thoughts comes to mind:

1. YES. Can't wait to watch the game! I LOVE football and wouldn't miss the Super Bowl for anything!

2. Football game?? I don't even know what teams are playing.... It's ALL about the food for me!! (And maybe the commercials.)

3. Super Bowl?? Who cares? I won't be watching or attending any parties.

Where do you stand?

Personally, I fall under the "It's all about the snack table" category. For me, the Super Bowl is simply an excuse to get together with friends and family to chow down on delicious appetizers and finger foods. When it comes to my husband though, he's all about the game.

While it's easy to stereotype and say that men love the actual game, while women tend to prefer the menu planning, that is not necessarily always true. Case in point: my grandmother. She is one of the most avid football lovers around. You won't ever find her at the snack table- instead, she's always in the middle of the huddle around the television, cheering and yelling with the best of them. Gosh, I love that woman.

So, that brings me to our Super Bowl Giveaway. For the past couple of years we've given away TV's for the football watchers out there, but this year, I wanted to have a promotion for the foodies! We are going to give away 10 of these Popcorn Makers to help spice up your Super Bowl snack table!

To be eligible to win, simply become a blog follower if you aren't already, and leave a comment telling me what you think of the Super Bowl- Love the game? Love the food? Or, just don't care?

I'll be picking two random winners every afternoon from Monday, January 30th until Friday, February 3rd! Winners will be posted in the sidebar of the blog. One comment per person please- Good luck!!

I hope I'm not too late for the chance to win this. I love football and I'll be watching the game this Sunday. One of my favorite snacks is POPCORN!!!! mmmmmm :). For those that need to know and don't know: Super Bowl XLVI (Giants vs Patriots) is on Sunday, February 5, 2012, at 3:30pm PT.

I'm not a sports fan (unless my son is playing--I went to all of his games when he was growing up), but I do usually watch the Super Bowl--for the commercials if nothing else. Since I love popcorn, I would love to win the popcorn maker.

Love the food! Love popcorn! We hang out with our kids and I spend most of my time in the kitchen making scones for the navaho tacos. I always see commercials and the score. Some scones are alittle over cooked. I would love a popcorn maker. Happy SuperBowl Day or maybe lets eat now day.

I love spending Superbowl with a decent sized group of friends and family with a nice spread. I haven't been able to actually host a Superbowl yet thought just due to limited seating and an inadequate TV!

I love watching the game and all of the excitement that in brings to atmosphere. There is only one thing better than it, and that is the friends and the family that all come over to watch it and cheer on the big game. It is almost as big as Christmas.

I don't really care for football, but I have great memories tied to the Superbowl. Before my mother-in-law passed away, her and I would go shopping while the guys watched the game timing it so we returned home just in time to see who won. Was hoping the 49ers would make it to the big game. Been a fan since YA Tittle and John Brodie were quarterbacking for the Niners. Hoped Alex Smith would be another "Local Boy goes the distance". He just came up a little short. Maybe next year? Will watch the game, it just won't mean as much. Popcorn goes well with football no matter who's playing.

I don't care a "hoot "about Football, but try to pay attention at the Super Bowl cuz the Half-Time usually is good and I Love the commercials . I don't care who plays, and even who the players are. it's all about spending time with my husband and enjoying the parts of the game I understand.
