The Accessory Every Home NeedsMoroccan poufs have been around in the design world for a while now, but they continue to be a popular accessory people can't seem to get enough of. These beautiful round leather embroidered ottomans are perfect when it comes to adding a little glam or pop of color to a room. Not only are they pretty, but they're functional too. In addition to being simply a decorative statement piece, a pouf can act as a footstool, a small coffee table, or even an extra chair!
If you have your heart set on a pouf but don't want to fork out the large sum of cash it takes to land one that is authentically handcrafted , don't fret. You can find cheaper versions out there (some knit instead of leather), or if you're really ambitious you can make your own! If you're ready for a fun DIY project, take a look at these instructions from apartment therapy and give it a go!

Would you put a pouf in your home? Personally, I'm loving the metallic gold......
Wow! It's the 70's all over again. This is something my 13 year old would love. She takes after her extravagant late grandmother...she'd make her proud.
I am glad to have seen them gone! Myself I think they are quite ugly!
I remember in the 70's something similar and I love sitting on them but the past is the past ans I think they are ugly now.
can u sit on them? guess if ya have room for stuff they are nice i would trip over it and that would be it haaha
Loving these "Poufs" & the kids play room/sunroom ideas. Think I'll try to make one. |
