Media Buyer
Salary Range: $60 – 65k annual salary depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday

The Media Buyer will oversee and execute media campaigns. Placement of media with focus on audio, video, print, outdoor, as outlined in media plans. Work closely with project managers, media directors and media producers in the planning, scheduling, and implementing of advertising campaigns.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Responsible for the overall merchandising decisions for assigned product categories
- Placement of media in various platforms in RC Willey markets
- Negotiate with media vendors to obtain the desired advertising and media slots
- Oversee day to day execution of media and approve makegoods and scheduling conflicts
- Read and interpret media analytics data from Nielsen, ComScore and Google
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and updates to improve media buying strategies
- Develop advertising strategies and campaigns to reach desired audience most effectively
- Maintain vendor relationships in all five RC Willey markets
- Manage campaign budgets
- Approve post campaign invoice
- Provide post campaign reporting and recommendations for future campaigns
- All other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL BRING ALONG:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field a plus
- Organized and able to juggle multiple campaigns at once
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Self-motivated with the ability to work alone and with the team
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to learn new software programs as needed
