Monday - Saturday with Sundays and 1 Additional Weekday Off

Description

Training Pay of $19.50 per hour; then, if you choose, you can move to piece rate compensation. The average compensation for our established drivers is $50,000-$65,000 a year and all deliveries are local.

R.C. Willey is searching for an outstanding Delivery Driver for our Roseville Distribution Center location.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for operating either a 45,000-pound or a 42.000 vehicle with a single axle trailer.

Loading, unloading and delivery set up of merchandise to the customer.

Handling and securing of all merchandise.

Coordinating with the delivery office and customers in resolving any problems encountered during the delivery.

All other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 21 years with a valid California Driver’s License and a good driving record.

Must be able to attain a DOT Medical Card.

Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.

Must be comfortable working at heights up to 40 feet.

Must have a positive attitude towards R.C. Willey and our customers.

Must be very detailed oriented.

Be able to become certified on forklift and other moving equipment.

Able to handle difficult situations on delivery with customers as well as with merchandise.

The schedule is Monday - Saturday with a day off during the week and requires flexibility to work longer hours in some cases.
