This position is located at our Corporate Office in Salt Lake City, Utah.

We are looking for a I.T. Manager with 10+ years of experience with proven technical hands-on leadership abilities to support and maintain all aspects of the compute, storage, and networking environments. Additionally, this position will manage our I.T. associates consisting of System Administrators, Network Administrators, and I.T. Help Desk associates.

  • Manage, maintain, and support, Dell/EMC 450AF array Brocade fiber switches, HP 7000 blade, HP-UX and HP-UX virtual environments, UNIDATA database 7 X 24, Red Hat Linux and Red Hat HA.
  • Manage, maintain, and support all aspects of 2 data centers.
  • Conduct research into I.T. related issues and products.

  • Manage critical I.T. relationships that include, vendors, RC Willey managers and associates.
  • Manage contracts, evaluate statements of work, evaluate, and recommend technology.
  • Comfortable presenting and coordinating with upper-level management.
  • Manage new projects and initiatives from planning to go-live.
  • Lead, delegate assignments, and hold associates accountable for quality and quantity of work.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting in all aspects of I.T. related issues.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • 4 year I.T. related degree from an accredited university.
  • Hands-on I.T. project management experience.
  • Must have leadership qualities and the ability motivate and teach others.
  • Must be able to prepare and present ideas to others in user friendly and understandable language.
  • Must be organized and professional with the ability to multitask and work without supervision.
  • Must have strong analytical thinking skills, attention to details, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, execute tasks, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Working technical knowledge of Dell/EMC VMAX disk arrays, Brocade fiber switches, HP-UX 11.3, Red Hat Linux and Red Hat HA, Cisco routers and switches, VMWARE products, Cisco UCS, Data Center equipment.
  • Ability to communicate technically about Cisco wireless products, I.T. Security related issues, and telecommunications technologies and configurations.
  • UNIDATA system management experience helpful.
  • Working technical knowledge of Cisco phone systems helpful.
