We are looking for a web development unicorn to own all front-end capabilities of and its’ intranet websites. This opportunity allows you to work on a multi-million-dollar website that is responsible for fulfilling the dreams of R.C. Willey’s customers by allowing them to confidently make purchases online. Integrated with many complex and varied systems from supply chain and shipping to sales and promotion, needs to add a full stack developer to our already incredible team of web developers. We are looking for a self-starter who can design, develop, maintain and deliver all aspects of development and design. Leading a small team of front-end Javascript/CSS/JSON/HTML5 experts, you will be responsible for integrating new technologies to push R.C. Willey forward as an eCommerce giant in the marketplace.

  • Design dynamic updates that draw customer’s in and help them feel confident in making online purchasing decisions
  • Actively seek new programming knowledge to keep R.C. Willey on the cutting edge
  • Build user interfaces and prototypes from wireframes and custom designs
  • Work with all major development/debugging tools and IDE’s
  • Follow and implement industry leading development best practices and tools
  • Supervise a team of web professionals by developing effective training procedures, appropriate task assignments, providing positive customer experiences and ensuring top quality control of all work pushed into our live environment
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Working understanding of Java, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, and JavaScript
  • Experience with JQuery, Spring MVC, SCSS, Hibernate, Apache projects, Git and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of NixOS, EDI, REST, SSH, FTP, HTTP, SMTP and other critical communication technologies
  • Experience in the retail sales industry
  • Familiar with social media and third-party API’s
  • Operates effectively as an individual for quick turnaround of enhancements and fixes
  • Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment

  • Degree in Software Development/IT or equivalent experience required
  • Proven experience exceeding expectations with high quality and always on-time
  • Responsible for coding/testing of new features and maintaining existing ones
  • Ability to design and develop web pages and user interfaces
  • Possess 5 or more years of team leadership experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
