Starting Pay: Pay Dependent on Experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM

RC Willey Home Furnishings is seeking a Human Resources - Compensation& Emp Benefits Associate to work at our SLC corporate office location. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (COMPENSATION):
  • Assist and work with Benefits& Compensation Manager to design, implement, and manage companywide compensation programs
  • Prepare occupational classifications, job titles and job leveling and compensation market analysis
  • Assist management with competitive analysis, merit increases and salary structures
  • Work with HR Talent Acquisition department to develop job descriptions for new and existing positions to determine appropriate and competitive base pay
  • Create and analyze compensation surveys and report using Payscale compensation software and program
  • Advise on salary increase requests
  • Assist management on budget forecasting for any mid-year or end of year pay increases
  • Assist department with a variety of Human Resource and administrative responsibilities as needed
  • All other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (EMPLOYEE BENEFITS):
  • Distribute required new hire benefit documents
  • Educate associates on all company offered benefits
  • Assist new hires with the completion of their online benefits enrollment forms
  • Process any benefit enrollment changes in "Employee Navigator" (Company Benefits Enrollment Program)
  • Audit all benefit enrollment information
  • Assist with annual open enrollment duties
  • Regularly audit all benefit premiums to ensure all deductions are accurate 
  • Assist in the management of the company wellness program and Onsite company medical clinic
  • All other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL BRING ALONG:
  • Must be outgoing, friendly, and able to engage others in conversation on the phone, in person and online
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite and able to learn new software programs quickly
  • Experience in Compensation and Benefits or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with benefits and compensation software programs
  • Good understanding of job evaluations and compensation analysis
  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Networking and Influencing skills
  • Some experience with recruiting through social media
  • Must have strong and proven analytical skills, and be detail-oriented, accurate in maintaining records and electronic filing systems, and have the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be dependable, organized and professional with the ability to work without supervision
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision
