Description

Job Title: Loss Prevention/Inventory Control Grade: 6 Location: Las Vegas Stores Reporting to: Ty Douglas Work Schedule: Full – Time, schedule to be arranged Posting Date: June 9, 2021 Closing Date: June 14, 2021 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist, and work closely with the store management team in implementing policies, rules, and standards to help protect the assets of the company. • Learn and be proficient with the inventory system. • Maintain accurate inventory records. • Must demonstrate a high level of professional and ethical behavior at all times. • Maintain, monitor, and review camera surveillance systems as needed. Save video as needed for evidence and company purposes. Do not share video with anyone but law enforcement. • Complete and file all fraud packets with local police departments. • Audit and file inventory reports for all processes and procedures through which inventory flows. • Perform accurate inventory counts on retail floor and warehouse locations. Complete count of all warehouse, clearance, and electronic inventories monthly. • Control and reduce merchandise loss through inventory analysis and shop-lift prevention. • Protect the assets of the company through investigation, tracking and overall reduction of lost merchandise. • Perform and submit weekly safety audits concerning inventory issues, policies, and safe work practices. • Test and maintain security devices and perimeter and interior alarm systems. • Effectively communicate and work with associates and managers at all levels. • Weekly submit reports of lost or destroyed inventory to corporate loss prevention. • All other duties as assigned. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Experience in retail loss prevention strongly preferred. • History of honesty and integrity. • Must have basic computer skills-MS Office experience preferred. • Have a working knowledge of the R.C. Willey computer system, including a strong knowledge in the management of inventories in the stores and distribution centers. • Excellent communication skills needed. • Must be organized and professional. • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. • Unidata computer experience preferred.
