The HR Business Partner will be responsible for staffing a variety of positions for our Intermountain Distribution Center (IDC) including warehouse workers and delivery drivers. In addition to staffing, this position will also help manage employee relations issues and other HR related duties.

  • WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Perform various staffing functions including tracking, reviewing, interviewing and extending job offers.
  • Use creative methods to attract and recruit qualified applicants.
  • Aid in making promotion, transfer, and termination decisions in compliance with applicable company policies and employment laws.
  • Manage employee relations and ensure workplace concerns are being handled effectively and appropriately.
  • Oversee leave administration.
  • Advise managers on HR related issues and/or other HR functions.
  • Responsible for communication and overseeing benefit policies and information.
  • Assist department with a variety of Human Resource and administrative responsibilities.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • WHAT YOU WILL BRING ALONG:
  • A good overall understanding of human resources principles and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the legal aspects of HR.
  • At least two years of experience in a formal HR department with Employee Relations and staffing.
  • A 4-Year degree in a related field or equivalent experience, CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
  • Strong ability to communicate with associates at all levels and a desire to be part of a dynamic team.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite and able to learn new software programs quickly.
  • Must be detail-oriented, accurate in maintaining records and electronic filing systems, and have the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Dependability, punctuality and excellent communication and problem-solving skills required.
  • Must be organized and professional with the ability to work without supervision.
