Refrigerator Installation
Refrigerator Connection Kit
Make Sure:
- Connection kit has been purchased with your new refrigerator.
- If the valve or waterline is not in good working condition, we recommend replacement of the valve prior to delivering your new appliance.
Refrigerator Water Valve
Make Sure:
- There is a functional water shutoff valve dedicated to the refrigerator.
- Valve is located without obstruction within 48 inches of the refrigerator location.
- Waterline is in good condition without kinks or cracks.
Washing Machine Installation
Washing Machine Water Valves
Make Sure:
- There are functional water valves directly behind the appliance.
- Valve is free of blockages or obstructions.
Washing Machine Drains
Make Sure:
- Drainpipe is within reach of the hose.
- Drainpipe is free of blockages or obstructions.
- Drainpipe is secured to the wall and 30 inches above the floor for proper drainage.
- Washing machine drain insert has been removed.
- Drain is in place for upper-floor laundry rooms.

- Drainpipe is secured to the wall and 30 inches above the floor for proper drainage.
- Washing machine drain insert has been removed.
- Drain is in place for upper-floor laundry rooms.
Delivery Day
Tracking Widget
On the day of delivery, our delivery team will send you a tracking widget with your two-hour time window.
Haul Away
RC Willey will remove and dispose of your old appliance free of change with your new appliance delivery.

Shut-Off Valve Location
If your old refrigerator has an ice maker or water dispenser that is hard plumbed (no valve directly behind the appliance) you will need to know the location of the shut off valve before our delivery team arrives.
RC Willey will gladly set up a new washer if we replace all equipment from the valve out to the appliance. Certain circumstances will prevent us from setting up your washing machine or refrigerator.
Examples of when we will NOT be able to set up your appliance(s)
- Valves and drain are not within reach of the connection kit and /or valve(s) are not in good working condition, rusted or corroded.
- RC Willey delivery associates cannot get a leak-free seal on the connection, or the drain has blockage.
- Customer has not purchased the connection kit.
- Valve will not interface with original manufacture or RC Willey connection kit.
- Valve(s) are located behind wall, under the floor, or through cabinets.
- Water system is inactive.
- Washing machine drain insert has not been removed.
- Any unforeseen circumstances.
